THE STORY of ARMED FORCES, begins when Mike Manne-guitarist, decides to put together a new band. He auditions Tommy Bolan,
and Tommy is chosen to be part of the two-guitar team. The two guitar players rehearse together, with scott knight-vocals.
Together, they form a new metal outfit, called ARMED FORCES,which is mikes concept, of course. Mikes influences were
iron maiden& judas priest. Mike& Tommy, co-write-let there be metal, the intruder, the knightrider and teaze me.
The band, rehearse's in queens, where the band mates have met. The band records all the songs, and magically get a EP deal,
with metallic flame records. The band releases their EP, and the band gets great reviews in the metal magazines.
Mike plays a FLYING v, guitar, while Tommy uses a Kramer strat. Besides loving and listening to blues records
Mike is also attracted to other music influences, like heavey metal.
MIKE MANNE, ALSO PLAYS on ARMED FORCE-Heavey Artillery& co-writes songs with Billy Flash Blakk.
Armed Force, was not authorized to change names on a full album, and a band disagreement arrises.
MIKE wants to keep it ARMED FORCES, but Blakk, tries to make too many changes.
Mike decides not to work with Blakk, and Blakk& Manne, say good bye.
